Free Keywords

If you are serious about making money online you should start to use and search keywords. Because no matter how original is the content you write, if you don’t use the key words that people use to find what they are looking for, your site will not be on the first results of the search engines.

Most webmasters were using the Overture keyword tool. But since last year this tool doesn’t work any more. Of course it was a very good free keyword tool but now, most of the time it is down.

So I suggest that you forget about it, unless you read one day that it is back and working again.

So where you should search keywords? Well, there are many keyword tools out there but the problem is that they use Overture to get the results. The best keyword tool right now is Wordtracker and you can get a 7 free trial. Of course they have a free version, which they don’t advertise. The free keyword tool by Wordtracker is very stable and fast. The keywords you get are from Dogpile and Metacrawler. This should be you Number 1 option for finding search engine keywords.

Of course, there are many alternatives out there, but most of these keyword tools are not free.

I will place here some free keywords tools that are stable and work fine. But you should remember that most of them simply will show the top keywords from Wordtracker.

Where To Ping Your Blog

First I want to tell you where you should NOT ping your blog. My personal opinion is that you should not use Pingoat. Here is why. Pingoat was created by Kailash Nadh. But this guy has also created many other projects and one of them is a spam blogs search engine called SplogSpot.

This service is monitoring Pingoat and when it will see a blog that is pinging to often it will mark it as spam blog and will add it at the database. Now I don’t know if major search engines consult this site but why risk it? Believe me, you don’t want to be in Splogspot’s database!

In his blog he says that both services were acquired by third parties but I think it doesn’t matter. I think both services are working together.

So where to ping your blog(s)? There are many services but the best I have found are these:

Google Friend Connect Review

Google has launched a new social networking service called Google Friend Connect. This new service, lets non-technical site owners sprinkle social features throughout their websites, so visitors will easily be able to join with their AOL, Google, OpenID, and Yahoo! credentials. You’ll be able to see, invite, and interact with new friends or, using secure authorization APIs, with existing friends from social sites on the web like Facebook, Google Talk, hi5, LinkedIn, orkut, Plaxo, and others.. Google Friend Connect lets you grow traffic by easily adding social features to your website. With just a few snippets of code, you get more people engaging more deeply with your site.

Bloggers can attract more visitors. Visitors bring along friends from social networks to interact on your site. You can choose engaging social features from a catalog of gadgets provided by Google and the OpenSocial developer community. All you have to do is copy and paste snippets of code into your site, and Google Friend Connect does the rest.

Making Money Online

There are two theories about making money online. The first says that making money online is easy. All you have to do is create 50-60 sites (or more), copy and paste a few articles, place Adsense ads on them and…wait for the money. The idea is that you will make one dollar per day from each site so you can earn around $1500 (or more) per month.

The second says that making money online is not so easy. You should create one or two sites (no more than 3), post your own original articles, optimize it for the search engines but also keep it user friendly and try hard to get visitors. Finally monetize your site(s) and start making money.

Of course there are many ways to make money online but these two are used mostly. I used to be one of those fools who try to make money online with the first way. But not any more. I finally realized that making money online is not easy and there are not money making secrets.

I have downloaded every ebook out there about making money online and I never found the Big Secret I was looking for because it didn’t existed! Actually I never found something I didn’t know. Just think about it. Why would somebody share his money making secret with you?

I had more than 50 blogs. Some of them were good, but most of them not. 24/7 I was thinking what to do next, which blog to promote, where to get backlinks from and for which blog etc etc. It was so hard to concentrate. Until one day, as I was talking with my friend Nick, he made me to understand that what I was doing was wrong. Since than, I promised to my self that I would make a new start. And I did. And from now on I will concentrate on Money Ideas and nothing else.
